And furthermore ...

Where have I been?

Last Friday I drove from Flagstaff to Albuquerque, New Mexico (having driven to Flg Thursday night after work). There was an agility trial over the weekend and we stayed at Her sisters house, which was only a dozen miles or so from the trial site.

I think the drive and perhaps the colder weather (low 40s in the AM) did me in a bit, by Sunday night was feeling an impending doom hanging over me. So I pushed on after dropping Herself and the dogs off in Flg and made it home by 9PM or so and was asleep by 10 (for a solid 18 hour day!).

Not real surprising that I woke up feeling truly miserable on Monday, a head cold of epic scope. I went through the motions of getting ready for work, but when the time came to leave, I couldn't face the day light (headache so bad my head was spinning) so I called in sick and went off in search of a dark room.

I felt a little better that evening, but woke up painfully at 3AM and couldn't get back to sleep, so I bailed on Tuesday too.

A little worse for wear today, but I made it into work.

So no numbers for Friday through Tuesday (though I did run a course on Saturday and overall walked over 5 miles for the day, Friday and Sunday were closer to 3 miles each). The work I'm doing showed in my run on Saturday, I went at a much faster pace then usual and was not as wiped out at the end of it as I'd been in the past.

Today's numbers!
20 2500

523 62200
Good pacing, don't want to over do it after being off nearly a week.
Now I'd better get some sleep, tomorrows another evil work day!
