Well that's pretty clear, sounds like we aren't going to do it right? Alas the very next sentence tosses all that out the window:

"Having said that, all options are on the table," Bush said.

What kind of an idiot is he? and why am I not at all surprised?

I think I need a good stiff drink!

The NPR feed this morning talked about Bush's meeting with German PM and how "they were in agreement that Iran must not have nuclear weapons." The piece then quoted Bush saying that UK, France, Germany and -?- were all in agreement on this.

Doesn't sound a bit like diplomatic coalition-building does it? I'd say it's good that he's at least talking to the rest of the Western world, but as you say... who's he kidding??? :::growlgrowlgrowl:::
