Feb. 10th, 2005 @ 03:15 pm Well if I didn't before, I sure do now ...
Have an FBI record that is.

Work is putting me up for a security clearance (Just a basic one) and I'm getting finger printed tomorrow.

I know some folks that have had this done a dozen times or so recently (Hi kalligraphy!) but despite the fact that I had basically this same clearance 10 years ago when I worked for CACI*, I've never been printed before. The requirements have probably gotten a little tougher.

Should be fun!

(CACI = often pronounced khaki, Yes the same company that was doing interrogations for the military in Iraq when the whole torture scandal broke. but don't look at me for that, I just did Database support and Sysadmin work for them way back when)

Arlington Sheriffs Department does fingerprinting after 1:30pm on weekdays. The Sheriffs Department is just down the street in the Arlington County Justice Center, across from the Arlington County Municipal Building in suite 9000. Cost is $5/card. Bring your own card(s) already filled out and photo ID. Actual process is fairly quick and painless (except for getting the ink off afterwards).
