Feb. 9th, 2005 @ 06:33 pm I lived there meme
Current Mood: goodgood
swiped from jaylake who got it from deviathan ...

Mine isn't as interesting and varied as Jay's but here goes

Washington, DC
Winston-Salem, NC
Bowie, MD
Gambrills, MD
Mitchellville, MD (Though where I was is now evidently part of Bowie)
Arlington, VA
Alexandria, VA

See pretty boring, except for NC, it's all within a 20 mile radius.

Time to move to AZ!

I know there are people who'd be happy to see you move here... :) You should've put the instructions on your list (not that I minded going over to jaylake's to figure it out).

Mine is even shorter, if I leave out boroughs and suburbs of New York City:

New York
New Jersey
New York

Someone commented in kradical's LJ that you can always tell when someone is from New York City because when they talk about New York, they mean the City! :)

Still with Ireland on your list you have me beat by a few thousand miles :)

It's the New Yorker's View of the World, after all. A sliver of New Jersey and then nothing. *g*

Even buying tickets on the commuter lines around here, you say "Round trip New York, please," not "Round trip Grand Central" or "Round trip Penn Station" or "Round trip New York City."

When I was growing up in Queens, "the city" meant Manhattan. You'd say "I'm going in to the city today"--even though Queens is part of the city, and there are other cities in the world. *g*
