Hmmm ... is there a ... *problem* with that BP? As far as i can tell it's pre-pre-hypertensive...

That's about right, Pre-Pre ... or more to the point Recovering Hypertensive (Just making up terms here).

A year ago I had my annual (my first actually, I've reached the age) and the Dr basically said "Don't care what you think is wrong, if we don't get that BP down, I'm going to hospitalize you". Scare tactics? Maybe but they worked.

I'm on very light BP meds (basically a diuretic and some potassium to make up for what gets flushed out) and other then some spikes (like when I was fired and when I moved out here and stuff, expected spikes given the situation) my BP has been trending to the right direction.

When I saw my Dr 6 months ago, he put me on a six month schedule of visits and said we'd consider dropping the meds if my BP held steady.

Of course then I moved and now I have to find a new Dr, but I'm still hopeful.

I like the fact that you're heathy. I'm heathy too. As in Helen Heathy Thompson Mosher. er, Heath. or maybe you're just toffee-ey. Or Heathcliff and Cathey-ey. Or...

You're very cute when you're restrained.

But don't set the cuffs too tight, they chaff!
