How I spent my labor day weekend.

Well there was lots of boring stuff, errands and laundry and the odd DVD rental.
But I also made it out to the Phoenix Zoo.
So of course pictures happened.

asked just this weekend to go to the zoo, we haven't been for a few years. When they were small, we went often. I told him we would wait until it cooled down.

Yeah, I had planned on going with a sick friend, but they were, in fact, so sick that their doctor forbade them from going out in the heat.
Major bummer, but I figured the least I could do was go myself and take pictures (and bring them a bag of kettle korn!)
We're going to try again in October, or as soon as they're feeling a little better and it's a lot cooler.
