RATS! Sadly, probably not. I'm still settling in after leaving Las Cruces to move back to Cloudcroft to better come to grips with my immune problem. We're going to Phoenix over Labor Day for me to attend Disc World Con (GoH Terry Pratchett), then going to Dallas two weeks later for FenCon (GoH Lois McMasters Bujold).

We've also been hemorrhaging a lot of money with the move and a two week driving trip to Ohio: Russet's mother passed away in June and was interred first of August, we drove largely due to my immune problem.

But we're still plugging away at WoW: my DK is up to 72 and Russ is close to getting her second 80. Giving vague consideration to trying to attend BlizCon some time, but next year I'm going to try to drag her to Dragon*Con.

WBZ radio which I listen to only because it has e.g. the weather every ten minutes in the morning, didn't have the integrity to bother to anything beyond the woman being argumentative, though it broadcast Rep. Frank's comments to her. WBZ is one of the stations which left any consideration of moderation and impartial reporting and "fairness" behind when Westinghouse Broadcasting became part of Columbia/Paramount/Viacom the result has been a network which whores itself and panders to those pushing inequality and the agenda and attitudes and reporting and editorial bias promoting the misadministration that left office in January.

I called the station to complain about its reporting and got told, "there are talk radio shows all evening." Yeah, sure, that's fairness, when the talk hosts are all male, white with one exception, and every one of them illiberal and anti-progressive, in MASSACHUSETTS. Like someone who's female who believes in equal opportunity is going to want to listen to that crap and to call in and be metaphorically urinated upon by the male anti-equal opportunity talk hosts, and their bigoted audience. NFW....

You know, if the boycott of Glen Beck's sponsors does anything measurable (like, please oh please, cost him his job), it would be worth a shot to try it at the local talk radio stations, esp the ones in a progressive market where they'd get at least as many listeners if they provided an alternative to the morons of the right.
